Storytelling is the only scarcity from @rpn
The creator presents a thesis on the future of social media, arguing that as AI eliminates the scarcity of visual content, the human narrative becomes the most valuable asset. He first illustrates this by telling a compelling but fake story about a piece of art, only to reveal it was AI-generated to prove the story created its value. He then uses the Apple TV intro as a second case study, contrasting an AI-replicated version with the original's use of practical effects to emphasize that the effort and story behind a creation are what truly connect with people.

Most people don't realize that in 2026, there's one thing you gotta do if you wanna survive in social media. Let me explain. Humans value scarcity. When a machine can create anything, the visuals are no longer scarce. I mean, I have to literally show you the camera for you to believe that this is real. Even then, it's only half real. You didn't notice. The point is, the only scarce thing left is the human narrative, the story. For example, take this piece of art. Cool, but nothing extraordinary
