Transcript excerpt

This is me about a year and a half ago when my hormones were pretty much ruining my life. I felt exhausted, my skin was breaking out, my brain fog was just getting worse and worse every day. So I decided to finally do something about it. I've had PCOS since I was 13 and like for so many women I was told to just go on the pill or try to lose weight but that never really fixed the root cause and it felt like no one was actually listening. So just about a year and a half ago I decided I was going to do everything to sort out my symptoms for good. I did so much research, I scoured studies, I spoke to experts and I ended up making a lot of changes. I upped my protein intake, I committed to getting my steps in every day, I started trying to regulate my nervous system, instead of religiously taking every supplement that I found research says supports fertility, normal testosterone levels, and metabolism. And actually after a few months of committing fully to all of these little things, I saw a crazy difference. My skin had cleared up. I wasn't spending every day wading through brain fog, and I started to actually ovulate again. But I was spending hundreds of pounds on supplements a month
