Transcript excerpt
In Los Angeles, a city where it's nearly impossible not to spend $40 every time you step outside, I wanna talk about one of the most important free resources you can have at your disposal, a Los Angeles Public Library card. I'm here at the LA Central Library for LA Taco because I wanna tell you about all of the free stuff you can get with a library card. Books. Obviously free. You know how a library works. But something that my fellow e better girlies might not know about is that LAPL has a huge selection of free ebooks. I'm able to get the majority of my books on my Kindle for free from the LA public library. Right now, I'm reading the Iron Widow series. Thank you so much for asking. I also borrowed a bunch of the popular Chainsaw Man manga, which is sold out at a lot of other bookstores right now. But even though it's free, do not borrow it unless you wanna be emotionally terrorized. If you prefer to listen to audiobooks, which are normally, like, 15 to $20, they're also free at the library, if you can believe it. Movies, TV shows, music, other media, say it with me, completely free to stream. So take that Netflix and every subscription streaming service that's ever yelled at me
