This is a pair of pleated pants I designed and I made a huge mistake. I forgot that because pleats add extra fabric to the worst. The excess fabric will cause the legs to flare out instead of maintaining a straight cut like how I wanted. The fabric I choose is also too flowy and it's not stiff enough to hold the shape. For the next iteration, I'm going to use a stiffer fabric to hold the shape, and I'm going to change the pants to a taper cut, so the gradual narrowing from the thigh to the ankle
