Explaining sales strategy with analogy from @shelby.sapp
The creator, Shelby, responds to a question by explaining why she believes plastic surgeons are the best salespeople. She uses an analogy of a surgeon's consultation, where the patient identifies their own 'problems' in a mirror, empowering them and positioning the surgeon as a problem-solver rather than a critic. She then directly applies this principle to sales, outlining a three-step formula: ask questions for content, create context, and solve the client-identified problem, emphasizing that this client-centric approach is the key to effective sales.

If the plastic surgeon were to sit you down and say, okay, you should fix this. You should fix this, and you have a terrible chin. You don't, but I'm just saying that. You would be like, okay, well, you're rude. I don't want any of your advice, like, you hurt my feelings. There's ego involved. Versus when he gives you the power to say, well, I like this, I don't like this. He can just solve the problems that you give him. See, in sales, you ask questions to get content, then you create context around it, and then you solve the problem. It's a three step formula. It's that simple, but it's all in the power of the client. That's how the best sal
