Transcript excerpt
When we were in Japan, our favorite thing to eat were these sushi sandwiches called onigurazu. Naturally, the minute we got back home, we had to make it. We filled it with our favorite wild planet skipjack tuna, an avocado, thin slices of cucumber, and a fried egg. Next, you're going to wrap everything in a sheet of rice paper and seaweed, cutting two slits to allow for proper folding, topping off the tuna with a little bit of Sriracha. Starting with the top corner, fold each filling on top of the best into a stacked square, wrap it in one final sheet of rice paper, and sprinkle with black sesames. In a hot pan with neutral oil, place the sandwich in the pan and seal all sides of the sandwich to give it a crispy, crunchy exterior. Remove it to a cutting board, slice it in half, and enjoy. No you have a crunchy, chewy, salty, and savory sandwich that you'll be making on repeat. Once you've made this, you may never go back to a regular tuna sandwich again.
