Transcript excerpt
Now I'm frying. Uh-huh. Are you a feast dish? What are we doing? We're making fried chicken with gunpowder. What do you think about when you're whisking eggs? Wouldn't you like to know? We brine the chicken wings overnight in just a bit of salt and a bit of sugar and water. That's it. So I have the onion with a pinch of salt. I have flour with a pinch of salt, and I have rank breadcrumbs. The gunpowder. It's a scant scant two tablespoons, but you'll use two tablespoons. I was trying to figure out other ways to use gunpowder. And normally, when I make fried chicken anyway, I season my dredge with things like Kashmiri chili powder or cayenne, amchur, which is is dry mango powder. Dredge. This is my least fun part. You wanna always leave one hand clean. I learned this the hard way. Dust off. Shake off. Bring that there. I want the oil to be too hot because, the outside will burn.
