There are two problems when it comes to electric stoves. You have no idea how much heat the stove is putting out. There's no precision. Every time you use the dial, it's a complete guess what temperature the stove is gonna be. The second problem is that you can't as quickly adjust because it takes more time to either heat up or cool down an electric stove. I don't like to mess around. So I bought an infrared thermometer on Amazon, $20, and I also have a kitchen timer here. We're gonna preheat our nonstick pan for about three minutes, and then we're gonna check the temp with our fancy thermometer. So now we're gonna just point with our little laser. Oh. Okay. The middle of the pan is two sixty. The top is two eighty. See, look at the difference in the heat here. So right in the middle, it's about two okay. This is perfect. Now let's check.
