Transcript excerpt

This one hasn't been on the market in over twenty five years. This mid century modern was designed by Robert Greene, a direct apprentice of Frank Lloyd Rank. And if you've ever driven through Amberwood, you've probably slowed down to look at the homes he's designed without even knowing it. But check out this deck. It wraps around the front of the house like the bow of a ship, which is exactly why the neighbors call this the Robert Greene Boathouse. The house isn't perfect, it will need some love, but the original architecture speaks for itself. Brick and glass coming together and playing with the indoor outdoor living situation. There's so much you could do with this space to make it incredible. Personally, I would try to find out if there was more wood in the original design of the home, and then I'd incorporate it in the walls and ceilings to warm up the space. Amberwood has quiet streets, good energy, Twin Lakes Swim Tennis Club is five minutes away, and Briar Lake Forest Park is accessible right down the street within the neighborhood. Now full transparency, this is a tier upper.
