To whoever recommended that I stay in Shimokitazawa in Tokyo, I want to formally thank you. Even after exploring Tokyo for a whole week, this neighborhood did remain my favorite. It's artsier and more quaint than the big neighborhoods that they normally suggest you stay in the first time you go to Tokyo. It's filled with vintage and thrift stores.
