Families lose their homes quietly. Not good, foreclosed, or even burned down, but through paperwork. I unexpectedly uncovered this while tracing a house from the tax sale owned by a property company. According to public records, in 1959, a couple bought the house. And in 2018, it was transferred to a company. But the signatures don't match. And it looks like the couple sued the company saying the deed was forged and they won. So why isn't the house back in their name?
