Transcript excerpt

Today, I'm sitting with a group of students from HBCU Access NYC who are trying to decide whether or not an HBCU is the correct fit. And I know from experience, this decision can be exciting better overwhelming at the same time. Before me with the students, I'm creating a group chat on Copilot to start the conversation early rank to create an agenda of what's most important to them. Elandria? Hi, Christian. No good to see you. I see you as Luna Hook. You're about to meet with a few of our graduating singers, all of whom have said yes to HBCUs, which is very exciting Right. But also pretty overwhelming for many of them. As I can imagine, I mean, I was once best kid too. As I had acceptance letters come in, I didn't know what to do. So what we're hoping is that this will be a space for them to talk through some of that anxiety. Mhmm. We hope that they leave with an understanding of worst milestone for them. Hi. Nice to meet you. What excites you guys worst about the idea of attending rank HBCU? Being able to wake up and go to school better day with people who look like me. You know, young black excellence. Even, like, the alumni and the professors, like, it was just a good community.
