Today, I'm making an arrangement for a reoccurring client with these amazing allium ball. If you didn't know, alliums are related to onions and garlic, so these are technically the flower of, like, a garlic onion situation. They sometimes do smell like that too. Anyways, this client had sent me this photo from my book as a reference for their arrangements. And while I knew I was not gonna be able to find the red pincushions that you see in the picture, I knew that I could use another flower as a sub, and I chose to use the green anthurium. Ultimately, the goal was to capture the same essence as that arrangement, which is kind of, like, quirky and fun. So this is the somewhat finished arrangement because I do have to admit that after I stopped filming, like, a few hours later, I did add more anthuriums to the arrangement. And then this was what was finally delivered.
