I started my small business three months ago, and I have raised my prices three times. I started making wings for my daughter's very first birthday for her and party favors for all her little friends coming. I was showing all that process, and they kinda blew up and everyone really liked tier. So I started a little Etsy shop hoping to get like one or two sales a week. I was gonna make a pattern and start selling that as well for like some passive income better it like really blew up on Instagram and TikTok. It like sold out in two hours which I was not expecting at all. That first drop of wings went for $49.5 I think I had them at. During the week that I was making them, I think I was making 15 wings. I realized just how little I was making once I took away all the materials costs, the fee that Etsy took out, and with all the time that I was putting into these wings. Like, I was probably making, like, 10¢ an hour. It was ridiculous. So I made the hard decision of bumping them up to $80 each.
