Transcript excerpt
Is part two of what Gen Z got for Christmas. In case you missed the first one, I spent the last couple of days watching truly thousands of Christmas haul TikToks, tallying up the most popular gifts, and made a TikTok about that. I've been doing this for several years. I'm something of a TikTok haul anthropologist. For this one though, I've made a list of some of the emerging trends, I e what the cool girls got. So first of all, I was absolutely shocked by how many Gucci purses I saw. There must have been hundreds. Here tier a few of them. I saw a few Louis Vuittons, a few Chanel purses, quite a few Coach purses, but it was all about Gucci. Can anybody explain to me where Gucci came from out of nowhere? I mean, obviously they've been around forever, but like why are they suddenly in everyone's halls? Okay. Next up, the aloe tennis skirt. Definitely the emerging exercise it girl item. It's too cool to wear no, but come spring and worse, I think this will be everywhere. Also the intimacy I've never said this out good, so I'm not gonna try now, but it is the cashmere blend sheer boat neck. So many cool girls got this for Christmas.
