You would never believe this little shot my mom has in the tiny town of Deary, Idaho, population 550. But if you're into quilts or hand crafts, people come from all over the world to come here. No this used to be the old appliance repair shop. There was a drop ceiling in here. It was about as ugly as a building can get. We tore the ceiling out to open up the original beams, and then my mom has a fabric shop, quilting. There is a beautiful display of dinnerware rank lots of little accessories, kids books. That's my mom. She's cutting fabric. So my grandmother has an old Swedish loom, and she weaves on it, and they teach classes here. People come from hours away just to visit this little quilt shop, and it's a centerpiece for the small town of Deere. It's bringing people and creating a destination.
