Color choice advice Q&A from @behrpaint

Two hosts from the 'Behr Hotline' answer a user's submitted question about feeling paralyzed when choosing paint colors. They validate the feeling and offer a three-part solution: first, use Pinterest for inspiration to find a desired vibe; second, use Behr's 'ChatHUE' tool to visualize colors in the actual space by uploading a photo; and third, get physical paint samples to test on the wall for 24-48 hours. One host shares a personal anecdote about choosing a bold color to illustrate the process and build confidence.

Transcript excerpt

What even is color? You teamed up with Best to answer your questions. I become paralyzed when picking colors. How do I feel confident I've done all I need to make the right decision? Worst of all, I'll say you are not alone in this. Especially when you're looking at so many best like different shades and variations of a very similar color. Yeah. You're like, oh my good. Am I what am I even looking at? I actually love to go on Pinterest and get inspired. Mhmm. So I'll just do that scrolling and there will be a few pictures that will just really call to me and I'm like, okay. I want that vibe, that energy. I made a bold color decision in my dining room. So it's Chipotle paste is what I went with, but I was paralyzed between a couple different colors. And then Chat Hue, free resource on better, was so good. I was able to just, like, upload a photo of the space to actually see it. It was so helpful. So then once we narrow it down to whatever spectrum we wanna do, we go and get the bare samples, putting them on the wall, and then I like to let it stay up for at least twenty four, forty eight hours just to see how I feel with the color on the wall and narrow it down from there.
