I bought this antique French side table years ago, and was always too intimidated to restore it. It has gorgeous wood inlay design that is missing pieces, the finish is chipped and flaking, and a piece of the top broke off during a move. It also has this pull out drawer with leather that has definitely seen better days. I started with a lacquer thinner to remove the existing finish. I was shocked to see every single element was done in wood veneer. I was expecting some parts to be painted. Then,
