I was commissioned to restore this vintage serpentine floor lamp. It was caked in layers of white paint, but the hope was that there was still wood underneath it all. I used Citrus Strip to remove the paint, but every layer just revealed another layer of paint. After stripping, scraping, and sanding, I finally got to the wood base, which I was shocked to see was still in relatively decent shape.
