My friend Sam is eight months pregnant, but she's really nervous about becoming a mom, so I wanted to make her something special to remind her just how ready she is. I talked to her mom about this, and she mentioned that she still had the crib from when Sam was a baby. And since it was already a hand me down from like the nineteen fifties, I just knew it wasn't safe anymore for babies. But it held so much sentimental value to their family and I just felt like if I could create something special
