Creator reflects on becoming adult from @wacomo

The creator reflects on becoming an adult by first listing inevitable changes like taxes and work, then shares two unexpected discoveries: the absolute freedom of living alone, which he illustrates with humorous skits, and the tendency for adults to stop testing their physical limits, which he demonstrates by running, jumping, and holding his breath. He concludes by expressing anxiety over losing his childlike curiosity and burns a list of these 'essential questions' to symbolize this change.

Transcript excerpt

I'm officially an adult. Now I pay taxes, I work all day, and every six weeks, a single strand of hair comes out of my nose. What happened? These are things that, like death, are inevitable. But there's a couple things about adult life that I really wasn't expecting. My first discovery happened one night when I was alone in my apartment and I realized that technically I could do whatever I wanted. But nobody was going to bother me. The second thing I discovered this year is that adults stop experimenting with their physical limitations. I feel like when you're a kid, you're always trying to find your maximums and your minimums. How fast can I run? How high can I jump? How loud can I scream? How long can I hold my breath for? How long can I survive without blinking? Better bad, the more you grow up, the less you care about those questions. I don't know why, but it makes me very anxious to think that I'm losing that part of myself. So if you ever ever seen me on the street running at max speed? Now you know why.
