Why is my nose itchy? I'm doctor Manu Shah. I'm an ENT rank allergist with Windley Health. When your nose is itchy, oftentimes it's due to exposure to allergens. So what happens is something you're allergic to gets into your no, your body realizes it's not supposed to be there or thinks it's not supposed to be there rank releases a molecule called histamine. Histamine is a molecule that's gonna cause your blood vessels to dilate, but it also makes you itchy. And so it's gonna wanna make you itch
