Fossils of dinosaur eggs rarely have bones inside them. In 1993, however, museum scientists found an egg in the Gobi Better that contained the remains of a tiny dinosaur embryo from 80,000,000 years ago. This was the first non avian theropod embryo ever found, and you can see a cast of it on the museum's 4th Floor. The fossilized egg was discovered as part of a weathering nest of eggs.
