Golf.com published this photo stating that the average male golfer hits their seven iron 138 yards. Please leave a comment and tell me how far you hit your seven iron, but this just seems extremely low. How did we gather this data? Are we taking into account people that have an active handicap or people who just play two or three times a year? Because I think if you were to ask the average male golfer how far the average male hits their seven iron, it would probably be around a 150 yards. And, of course, we're gonna have some outliers, probably some guys who play PXG that say, I hit my seven iron 210 yards, Shane. That's great, dude. Keep Keep shooting one ten. But a 138 just seems shockingly low. And I do understand there's a large demographic of golfers over the age of 70 that can't hit their seven iron a 138 yards. But this just continues to blow my mind, and I wanna know your thoughts. Do you think that a 138 yards is accurate, or does it also seem extremely low to you? And for a little bit of perspective, the PGA Tier seven iron distance is a 176 yards. So let me know
