Is it possible to make a skier only using wool where the texture comes off the canvas? This is my Players collection where I create 30 artworks featuring 30 different sports and today is episode 19. I've been wanting to do skiing for a while now and I wanted to make this piece really unique. I studied different ski photos for weeks and drew design after design, but I wasn't in love with any of them. Then I found a photo that changed it all. A guy skiing moguls with those big bumps down the mountain. And that gave me the idea tier create the Moguls using long pile three d good. But this gave me a problem. I've never had them. I always use short wool for my people no they remain sharp and defined. Since he was surrounded by long wool, I gradually shaved the Moguls around him no he still pops without being lost in the wall. So here it is. I'll work 19 out of 30, cloud nine. This is the first of six snow artworks. Follow along to see what's next.
