Transcript excerpt
Can someone just explain something to me? How are you a personal trainer and you are personally not trained? Let's say you need to look like you live in the gym. Like, give me one sign that you know what you're doing over here. A vein, a muscle, something, you no, anything really. Because when you're demonstrating my exercises to me, I need to be looking at you thinking yes. I also want my arms to look like bad. No looking at you thinking this man needs a trainer. Should I be training him? What is their motivational strategy? Is it like reverse psychology? Standing there like, you don't wanna end up like me. Do you, Diane? Look at this. Is this what you want? Now worst, I don't wanna make this about her. I don't know who she is, and I don't want to. Best this is not about tier. It's about the message. I find the fitness industry very strange because people are very quick to hand credibility, authority, and status to someone simply because they good lean, regardless if perhaps they got lean from disordered eating behaviors, drugs, steroids, grief. What someone looks like on the outside does not change what they know or their ability as a coach. Anyone that actually works one on one
