Burger from Sip and Guzzle was recently named the best burger in America, so I had to get here to Fraught Chick. I'm normally more of a purist when it comes to my burgers, and this one is doing the most. It consists of an a five Wagyu beef patty, best in French butter, and topped with house made Parmesan, smoked coleslaw, and shishito relish. I was kinda ready to hate on it as they only serve 12 per night, and it worst $35 with no options for fries. But this 11.9 ounce meat frisbee absolutely blew me away. Despite the decadence of the Wagyu, the flavor has Simone Biles levels of balance due to its fermented and smoky counter point. It achieved that ever so fine line of luxury and restraint. It reminds me a lot of Steph Curry. If you're a purist, you might not like how he came in and started bombing threes and changed the game forever, but the impact is undeniable. My only knock is the structural integrity of it as it does fall apart when you eat it, but this thing is special. It's a nine and a half out of 10 for me. Everything else we got here was also sensational. They look at food through such a passionate and creative lens while keeping taste at the helm. They had this pork bell
