The oldest tattoo shop in the world is in Denmark. Tatoole in Nyhavn, excuse my pronunciation, set up in 1884 rank one of the only places to get tattooed in Scandinavia for one hundred years. Set up by Incans. He had a deal with the local prostitutes of the area where if a sailor wanted his name tattooed on one of the girls, Hans would pull the needles right back in the machine no it would wash away in a few days. King Frederick the ninth, a former sailor, had an extensive collection of tattoos.
