Explains found crypto wallet scenarios from @cryptocomix

The creator reacts to a Reddit post about a found Ledger hardware wallet. He explains the two possible outcomes: the finder attempting to guess the PIN, which will wipe the device after three failed attempts, and the original owner using their secret recovery phrase to access their funds on a new device, rendering the lost one useless.

Transcript excerpt

No this guy found a ledger inside of an auction pallet. Can anything be done with this? Can it be hacked, or is it junk? Now there's two things that good happen. If this guy can somehow figure out what the PIN number is, then he can access all of the money on this wallet. But he only gets three attempts or else the whole wallet deletes itself and gets erased. The second thing is if you were the unlucky person who lost this wallet, there's still a way that you can access your money and get it off before someone finds your wallet, and that is with your recovery phrase. No when you create a wallet, you always get a set of 12 worse. Sometimes it's called a private key. As long as you keep these words safe, you keep them on a physical piece of paper and you don't lose them, you can always recover your money even if you're not physically able to grab your wallet. If you were the person that found this wallet, what would you do?
