This is Connor Gavigan, a junior in high school launching balls over 400 feet. Here's how he does it. First, he gathers into his legs and drives off the backside. From there, he gets into a great athletic fifty fifty power position. Elbow is up, now he's pointing down towards the catcher. When he rotates, the roll is perfect. No push, and he extends forward creating that money gap, just like the best hitters in the game.
