Being cheap or stingy is actually a sign of high cortisol. It's your body being in resource protection mode. It needs to keep all the money, keep all the food, keep all the resources because you're in a high stress survival state. People who have low stress and low cortisol are much more likely to be very generous, very giving, and not be stingy and cheap. So next time you go out and your boy doesn't wanna tap the whole bill, tell him it's because he has high cortisol.
