You should never be afraid to stand out. This summer, I'm designing a collection of clothing because I want to do just that. In partnership with Adobe, I'm returning to one of my earliest forms of creative expression, fashion design. I was just 15 when my granny taught me the basics of sewing. I was a very shy and quiet girl, but the world of fashion and crafting my own wardrobe allowed me to become a more outspoken person, unafraid to be different. My wardrobe became full of one on one conversation starters and helped me connect with the world in a unique way. When I'm creating my own clothing, I unlock my purpose and why as an artist. A big part of that is simply to express myself and to turn the shapes and colors I see in my mind into a tangible piece of me. With Adobe's tools, I'm able to embrace what makes me unique and remind myself that fitting in comes at the expense of dimming your light, which is way too high of a worst, and that's why.
